Detailed Description

The Ferodo FER4003 is a light to medium intensity racing material, specifically designed for formula cars and Touring Cars. It delivers an average friction coefficient of 0.46 over a temperature range of 100 °C to 550 °C.

It is characterized by very fast bedding-in, sharp initial bite, and excellent pressure release, allowing responsive braking and precise control even when aerodynamic downforce decreases. Low drag and effective release make braking-to-acceleration transitions smoother, which is especially appreciated in formula cars where frequent rhythm changes occur.
